Compatibility with other drugs:

To control a wider range of dicotyledonous weeds, Polaris BT is recommended to be mixed with other herbicides on appropriate crops. For example, onsunflower, a combination of Polaris BT + Prom BT is used. Before preparing tank mixtures, it is necessary to conduct trial mixing and carefully read the instructions and restrictions on the simultaneous use of the drug. The tank mixture should be used immediately after preparation.

Preparation of working solution:

The working solution of the drug must be prepared at specially equipped points. Before use, it is necessary to prepare the equipment for spraying: check the serviceabilitysprayer systems, thoroughly wash the tank, main pipelines and nozzles for spraying the working mixture. Before work, adjust the sprayer to the specified operating mode. When the sprayer is in mixing mode, pour the necessary amount of the drug into a sprayer tank filled with water to 1/3. After a few minutes, add water until the tank is full. After applying the drug, it is necessary to thoroughly wash the tank, main pipelines and nozzles with clean water.

Mechanism of action:

The mechanism of action is inhibition of cell division. The transport of amino acids and auxins into the coleoptile stops, the osmotic pressure decreases and the embryo dies. The effect of the drug on weeds is irreversible. If the application technology is followed, the absence of weeds is ensured for 12-14 weeks. The drug does not affect weeds that have already sprouted. Soils with a high content of humus and clay partially reduce the effectiveness of the drug. Therefore, Polaris BT is recommended to be used on sandy soils with the minimum recommended rates, and on loamy soils and soils with a high humus content - with the maximum rates. The soil should not have large hard lumps, which increase the absorption area and reduce the effectiveness of the herbicide.
