A friend of mine, a doctor, asked a guy who knows a little English, who is engaged in commercial translation, to translate an article from an American medical journal. The article was about gynecology.
Then the doctor visited all his acquaintances and showed them with pleasure the part of the translation where fallopian tubes became "Fallopian tubes".
