Please, if you really intend to purchase this super culture, then in order to save my personal time and my time, please forgive at least the first 5 paragraphs of the description below, thank you)). If there are any questions, I will certainly answer them when I have time, but I will ignore questions about what-for-what, what-it-is-like, and how-it-is-planted, since the information is freely available on the Internet and in the description below:
I am selling excellent tubers (as flat as possible and without damage), grown exclusively for myself and my family far from production (50 km from the Dnipro in the village of Apollonovka) exclusively on organic matter (siderates, herbal infusion, ash and harmless sulfate/potassium humate) and without the use of chemicals (exclusively biological preparations).
The cost is UAH 30-50 for one mother root crop, depending on the fraction, the large size of the root crops increases the price (one root crop can give 20-100 cuttings of seedlings, depending on the conditions, planting time and, not least, the size, but a very large size does not make sense).
Unfortunately, I do not sell ready-made seedlings, this takes up a lot of a villager's limited time, especially during the planting period.
There are a couple of hundred kg of roots for food of the large fraction at the price of UAH 60-80/kg of all varieties, except for purple (only the medium fraction remains at UAH 70/kg), the minimum order is UAH 300
Read more about sweet potatoes on the site of my friend, sweet potato breeder Dmitry Korovin, batat.in.ua, while my blog is under development. Upon request, to calm the nerves, I will drop links to the profile that does not have positive reviews about me on two Ukrainian auctions.
Sending by Nova Poshta mainly in the morning (possible Ukrposhta on Saturday) at the nearest possible time (taking into account the pandemic and the distance of the branch 10 km from my house) with plus temperature at night (that is, in March, but it is possible at your own risk and in winter during the thaw). Packaging on conscience, exclusively by me at my expense in cardboard boxes and bubble film (for uterine tubers). The guarantee of the quality of the tubers (re-sending is my fault), the tubers are sent with small sprouts or tubercles, that is, slightly sprouted.

1. VR (Vinnytskyi Rozovy, aka red gold, gocha, tekken) - a table bush variety with pink-purple skin and cream flesh. Harvest and adapted variety with slight sweetness, my main table variety. Good germination, excellent seedling yield and survival. I consider ego to be the best variety for beginners and I advise you to start with it.
2. Bayubel (LA 07-146) is an early dessert variety with medium-long vines. Red-purple skin and orange pulp, sweet juicy and slightly elongated tubers. The front garden sprouts better and the yield of seedlings is greater. My main dessert variety.
3. Beauregard - an early, high-yielding, dessert and long-growing variety. Copper-orange peel and orange pulp, sweet, juicy and rounded tubers. The main industrial grade of the USA and Australia. However, it has a long germination and a small yield of seedlings.
4. P1 (Porto Amarelo or Portuguese yellow) - a dessert variety (dessert-table according to me) with yellow skin and orange-white flesh, moderately sweet taste. High-yielding and early, the tallest variety with large carved leaves, very decorative. In the second photo, my tuber is the record holder of this variety.
5. Purple (purple or violet) - a table variety with dark purple skin and purple-white flesh. Medium-late, without sweetness, medium yield. BUT the most useful variety of all, thanks to the purple anthocyanin pigment (resistant to thermal processing), has anti-cancer properties, increases immunity, improves eyesight and many other benefits. Very powerful bushes with a blue tint that can "crush" other bushes, but the roots themselves are fragile and stretch out in length.
Description of this super-culture from me:
1. Huge benefits for the body of all categories of people (from babies with their first complementary food to the elderly for easy digestion, from athletes and bodybuilders to patients with type 2 diabetes and heart disease), proven by numerous studies (because of the great benefits and other features, NASA plans to grow sweet potatoes in space). Sweet potatoes contain a large amount of potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, iron, zinc, and selenium, as well as a lot of vitamin A (it is in orange varieties at the same level, or even more than in
carrots) and vital vitamin C, as well as many complex and simple carbohydrates (has a medium-low glycemic index, does not increase
sugar level in the blood).
2. Relatively high yield, which allows you to get 1-5 kg per bush in our area, but the yield depends on factors, the main thing is the number of warm days and nights in a year (it is good if it is 4 months of heat with early spring, hot summer with rains and late autumn), correct planting in the ridges, mandatory watering in the first month after planting, fertilizing and care (subtropical culture requires effort to get a normal yield), but the benefits of the sweet potato more than compensate for the invested time and effort.
3. Resistance to drought/heat and the absence of pests (the Colorado beetle does not eat, only universal pests such as wireworms, cabbage worms, slugs and mice). Global warming is not a fairy tale, every summer is getting hotter, it is necessary to switch to crops resistant to heat and drought (but this does not mean that it is not necessary to water, these are not cacti, it is just that sweet potatoes can grow without watering, but then the appropriate harvest).
4. Small amount of seed material - just one tuber can give, depending on the conditions and timing of planting, from 20 to 100 cuttings per seedling, that is, future bushes (I get 15-20 on average, since I plant at the end of March, but you can from the end of February/beginning of March). You don't need to store bags of
potatoes to dig up a crop slightly larger than the planted one, 10-100 sweet potato tubers are enough for personal purposes. In the photo, a bed of 500 m is approximately 1,600 bushes of only 100 tubers (or half as many tubers, if planted a month earlier), which will give at least 1-3 tons of harvest with appropriate care, which is enough for yourself, your family and other desired people.
