The KPS-8 pre-sowing cultivator is intended for continuous cultivation of the soil, for pre-sowing treatment, as well as for loosening untreated stubble.
The KPS-8 cultivator is semi-trailer and is aggregated with the tractor with the help of a height-adjustable, long traction-coupling device of high rigidity, which allows to minimize the influence of the displacement of the trailer point when the tractor is moving, and also significantly increases maneuverability of the "tractor-cultivator" unit when turning.
The KPS-8 cultivator is equipped with four single-axle wheeled mechanisms with a working width of over 10 meters - four mechanisms equipped with two-wheeled balancing carts with a 700 mm wheelbase, which ensures maximum stability of the cultivator during operation and precise processing to the specified depth. The working clearance of the cultivator (from the bottom of the frame to the sole of the paw) is 710 mm, which is combined with a 4-row (grip width up to 8.4 meters inclusive) or 5-row (grip width over 10 meters) arrangement of working bodies with the smallest distance between adjacent ones in the row 690 mm completely excludes clogging of the subframe space with harvest and plant residues. And with an intercenter distance of 230 mm between adjacent flat-cut legs with a grip width of 310 mm (mutual overlap of 80 mm), 100% cutting of any weeds is ensured.
