Agritox is an innovative a broad-spectrum herbicide designed to combat dicotyledonous weeds in grain, leguminous, fodder and industrial crops.
The basis of the drug's action is the active substance MCPA in the form of a dimethylamine salt with a concentration of 637.7 g/l, which in acid equivalent is equal to 500 g/l.
Manufacturer: Nufarm
Packaging: canisters with a volume of 10 liters, the price is indicated for 1 liter.
Agritox is used to effectively control a wide range of weeds, including difficult species such as horsetail and field birch, as well as rapeseed and
sunflower, including those resistant to ALS inhibitors.
Mechanism of action of Agritox
lies in its ability to imitate the effect of auxins, natural plant growth hormones, which in excess of concentration cause uncontrolled growth and ultimately the death of weeds sensitive to the drug. It is actively absorbed by the leaves and systemically distributed throughout the plant, effectively controlling weeds already in the early stages of their development. In weeds, the intensity of respiration increases, the process of photosynthesis slows down as a result of the destruction of chlorophyll, complex organic substances - protein, starch, inulin - undergo hydrolytic decomposition, synthesis processes are weakened, the content of mobile forms of carbohydrates and sugars increases, the supply of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is sharply reduced, the synthesizing activity of the root system stops. As a result of impaired water exchange, plants lose turgor and begin to wither. The main harmful objects controlled by the drug are annual and perennial dicots.
Regulations of application:
The consumption rate of the working solution is 200-300 l/ha. The number of treatments per season is 1. It is effective when weeds are actively growing, it is optimal to spray at an air temperature of +12-25°C. Do not use in unfavorable conditions that can stop the growth of plants.
