Sometimes they also use satin weave fabrics with a smaller number of overlapped warp wefts, which increases the strength of the material when stretched. STEF-1. STEF-1 glass fabric is a thin fiberglass base impregnated with modified epoxy resin according to GOST 12652-74. In terms of most physical and mechanical characteristics, the plastic of this brand is similar to the STEF brand. The difference is that it is more suitable for such mechanical processing as sawing, turning and drilling. The thickness of the manufactured products is 1.0-50 mm.
