Geronimo - A new insecticide created on the basis of two active substances - acetamiprid and bifenthrin, characterized by a quick and long-lasting effect against a wide range of sucking and leaf-gnawing pests on some major agricultural crops.
Діюча речовина: ацетаміприд, 250 г/кг; біфентрин, 250 г/кг
Chemical class: neonicotinoids IRAC group 4A; pyrethroids IRAC group 3А
Preparative form: water-soluble granules.
Manufacturer: Corteva Agriscience, USA
Packaging: 1 kg
Cultivated crops:
Soy, rapeseed, cereals, sugar beet,
Potato
The period of protective action is 12–16 days.
Works stably in an extended pH range of 4–9.
Application temperature from +5ºС to +25ºС.
Shows high stability under the action of ultraviolet radiation.
Benefits of using:
Effective against a wide range of pests - representatives of a number of angiosperms, semi-rigidos, isoptera, lepidoptera, thrips and mites.
A rapid knockdown effect, a quick cessation of feeding and a long period of control.
Contact-intestinal mode of action.
A pronounced acaricidal action.
A reliable tool for controlling pests that are in hard-to-reach places.
Stable in sunlight.
Stable at pH 4–9.
Effective at low rates of use.
The insecticide is an ideal tool for integrated protection programs and anti-resistance strategies when used under label conditions.
Mechanism of action:
Bifenthrin is an insecticide, acaricide. Contact-intestinal. Affects the nervous system of insects; interacts with the sodium channel, which leads to a violation of the function of neurons.
Effective against a wide range of pests, including antoptera, dipterans, semi-hertopterans, isopterans, lepidopterans and orthopterans; also controls some tick species.
Acetamiprid is a systemic insecticide with translaminar activity and contact-intestinal action. Acetamiprid affects the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, inhibiting the synapse of the central nervous system of insects.
Controls semi-hermaphrodites, isoptera (aphids), thrips and lepidoptera.
Spectrum of activity:
Geronimo demonstrates high effectiveness against major pests, including representatives of a number of Lepidoptera, Rigidoptera, bugs, Isoptera, thrips and mites, rapeseed mealybug, rape flower borer, spider mite, acacia firefly, harmful shell bug, wheat thrips
Application on cereal grain crops:
Geronimo provides effective control of a complex of pests on
cereals crops with edge and continuous treatments
Application on rapeseed:
For effective control of cryptic hobbyists, daily monitoring should be carried out with the help of yellow traps, the sum of effective temperatures and the level of ESR should be taken into account. Do not use during rapeseed flowering.

The rate of use is 0.075-0.125 KG/ha.
Application on soybeans:
Thanks to bifenthrin, Geronimo™ has pronounced acaricidal properties against the spider mite, one of the main pests of soybeans.

The norm of the working solution
The recommended rate of working solution is 150-300 l/ha. For the maximum effect, the plant/culture must be covered with a high-quality working solution. In the case of processing plants or pests that have dense pubescence, a waxy layer, as well as in low humidity (drought), surfactants can be added - to improve the penetration of the product!
Compatibility:
As practice shows, Geronimo is well compatible with fungicides, herbicides and other drugs. If necessary, a test on the physical compatibility of the components of the tank mixture can be performed.
Impact on pollinators
Toxic to bees and other pollinators. Avoid direct contact with bees, follow the recommendations on the label to avoid negative effects on these insects.
