The origin of the elegant and practical rowing boat "Whitehall" is still shrouded in mystery. It is known that in ancient times the builders of this boat were sailors and navigators. The sea taught these people caution, so they stuck to proven and reliable things.
It took a lot of time to create a boat that had a good design and all the necessary qualities, but when it was done and all the details were perfected, these people rarely made any changes. The design of the boat began in 1820 in America, in New York, on Whitehall Street, and it was done by the students of the Naval Shipyard, who adopted this model from the lifeboat model of an old warship.
The boat that we will build with you was designed according to original drawings using modern materials. The details of the hull and the interior of the boat are made of Okume marine yacht plywood, all the wooden parts of the boat are made of hardwood. The bottom of the boat on both sides is covered with fiberglass with an epoxy composition. This technology allows the body to be strong and at the same time light in weight. The boat kit does not include:
Tools, oars, joints, varnishes, paint and such consumables as (sanding paper, paper tape, etc.) The price of the set is 1600 €. The approximate weight of the boat is 50 kg (depending on the boat's configuration). The set production time is two weeks from the moment of the order.
