The variety was entered in the State Register of plant varieties of Ukraine in 2007.
The origin of the ALMAZ soybean variety was bred by the method of hybridization of Beltsy 3 / 86 × Fiskeby 840-5-3 varieties.

The variety is early-ripening, has a neutral photoperiodic reaction, is cold-resistant, drought-resistant, provides a stable growing season of 100-105 days. The variety is resistant to diseases, suitable for mechanized harvesting, does not fall.Beans do not crack.

The plant has a dense bush, a stem with a complete type of growth. The pubescence of the stem is gray. The height of the plants is 60-70 cm, the height of the attachment of the lower bean is 12-14 cm. The leaves are trifoliate with green oval-pointed plates. Inflorescence - multi-flowered brush, 5-7 light purple flowers each. The seeds are large, round-oval, yellow. The seed scar is narrow, brown with an eye.Grain yield in the conditions of Polesia - 26.7 t/ha, Forest Steppe - 26.3 t/ha. The average yield of the variety is 18.2 t/ha. In 2005 - 22.9 t/ha.
The type of grain used is resistant to major diseases and pests, suitable for mechanized harvesting. Recommended for cultivation in the regions of the Forest Steppe of Ukraine.
