DN Argo - an innovative hybrid of corn with increased productivity from Oleon Genetics (Argentina) and the Institute of Agricultural Steppe Zone of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Maize has maximum resistance to adverse environmental conditions, drought, cold and lodging - 9 out of 10 points. The hybrid is not susceptible to the causative agents of head diseases, rots, helminthosporiosis, fusarium and cephalosporiosis.
Characteristics of the DN Argo hybrid:
FAO - 250;
yield
grains - more than 120 tons/ha;
silage yield - more than 700 tons/ha;
plant height - up to 220 cm;
grain type - tooth-shaped;

recommended cultivation zones - Steppe, Forest Steppe, Polesie.
The cooperation of the Ukrainian Institute and Oleon Genetics allowed to achieve benchmark productivity with minimal costs for growing
corn seeds DN Argo. Standard productivity indicators in their group of mid-early hybrids allow to ensure high grain and silage productivity in almost any climatic zone of Ukraine.
The high resistance of DN Argo to diseases allows the hybrid to be successfully grown in regions with an increased risk of plant damage by root and stem rots and types of smut. In order to obtain maximum yields and exclude competition between plants, the manufacturer recommends observing the following density at the time of harvesting:
Steppe - 50000-55000 rast/ha;
Forest-steppe - 80,000-90,000 rast/ha;
Polesye - about 90000-95000 rast/ha.
