One of the main properties of hazel is renewal of the body and strengthening of blood vessels. A total of 70 g of hazelnuts provide the daily requirement of vitamin E. The nut fruit also contains vitamins B1, B2, PP, as well as a small amount of vitamins A and C. Minerals, in turn, are balanced so that the main emphasis of their content is aimed at supporting the cardiovascular system. This is provided by a significant amount of potassium (445 mg per 100 g) and magnesium (160 mg per 100 g). It is impossible not to note the hazelnut as an excellent source of iron, with which it is able to saturate the body in double the norm (36 mg). This makes it an indispensable product for blood formation problems.

Hazelnut can be called a good source of proteins, which make up 13% of its mass. This allows its fruits to be included in the vegetarian menu as a partial substitute for meat.
Interesting fact: unlike the wild hazelnut, the domesticated
hazelnut, having a similar calorie content (650 kcal), does not contain such a composition rich in iron, therefore
hazelnut is always more appreciated.
