Thanks to the special chemical structure, the adjuvant increases the degree of penetration of the active substance into the leaves. This happens for several reasons. On the one hand, the adjuvant improves the wetting ability of the working solution, which helps the active substance of the herbicide to overcome the barrier in the form of epicuticular wax on the surface of the leaves faster. On the other hand, the absorption of the active substance increases, thus a larger amount of it penetrates the leaves of weeds. As a result, the penetrating ability of the herbicide increases, which makes it possible to especially effectively destroy weeds whose leaves are covered with a wax coating in dry, hot weather (quinoa, sagebrush, bitter gourd, milk thistle) or have dense pubescence (thistle, sedge, tartar, veronica). The fight against partially overgrown weeds becomes more effective. Adding an adjuvant to the working solution of the herbicide significantly increases its resistance to rain.
