MECHANISM OF ACTION OF THE HERBICIDE BUTIZAN 400
The drug penetrates the plant through the roots, as well as through the hypocotyl and cotyledons. The herbicidal effect on the main weeds is manifested in the violation of root physiology. The first signs appear in inhibition of transpiration and root growth. When the herbicide is applied after emergence, the growth of weeds first stops, then they change color and die.
APPLICATION OF HERBICIDE BUTIZAN 400
BUTIZAN 400 is used at a consumption rate of 1.5-2.0 l/ha after sowing to seedling or in the phase of embryonic leaves, maximum up to one true leaf in weeds. However, in the phase of the first true leaf, only those weeds that are particularly sensitive to BUTIZAN® 400 can be processed, for example, chamomile, starwort, deaf nettle and veronica. All other types of weeds, in particular, ragwort, sorrel, and field weed must be treated before the stage of embryonic leaves.
Fractional application is not recommended.
In dry years with slow and uneven growth of weeds, early post-emergence application is recommended, as late-germinating weeds are destroyed in this case due to action through the soil.
A well-compacted seedbed is a prerequisite for good rapeseed development and uniform weed growth.
Necessary conditions for the most effective action of the herbicide BUTIZAN 400: Application on carefully prepared soil. There should be no lumps larger than 4-5 cm on the surface of the soil.
Herbicidal treatment should be carried out on fresh soil (immediately after cultivation) or immediately before watering or rain.
Inter-row treatments should not be carried out earlier than after 20-25 days.
The herbicide creates a good soil screen. All surface treatments of the soil after herbicide application reduce its effectiveness. The best result is achieved with sufficient and excessive soil moisture.
NORM OF CONSUMPTION OF THE WORKING FLUID OF THE HERBICIDE BUTIZAN 400
on light sandy soils, it is recommended to apply 1.5-1.75 l / ha
on loamy and clay soils - 1.75-2.0 l / ha.
It is not advisable to use BUTIZAN 400 on peatlands due to their high absorption capacity.
