PRINCIPLE AND SPECTRUM OF PESTICIDE ACTION:
ASTREL PLUS SE is used to destroy annual dicotyledonous and grassy weeds before their seedlings appear to prevent competition with cultivated plants. The agent acts on seedlings and also on weeds that have begun to germinate from seeds, being absorbed mainly through the root system and through the first leaves of weeds, due to which the sprout twists and then dies. The active component of the herbicide, terbuthylazine, affects the photosynthesis of plants by blocking the transport of electrons in the cell of weeds, and the second component, acetochlor, affects the synthesis of proteins and fatty acids, which causes the death of weeds. ASTREL PLUS SE, thanks to the combination of 2 active ingredients, controls a fairly wide range of annual weeds, including those resistant to other herbicides, namely:mustard field, common yellow sedum, daisies, black solanum, ragweed, etc. If the pesticide is used in the recommended rate, due to the fact that it contains a special antidote, phytotoxicity is not observed on cultivated plants.

ASTREL PLUS SE is a soil herbicide designed to protect corn andsunflower. It is used before sowing, during it and after sowing, but before the first shoots of the crop are visible. Immediate earnings after use are not required. It is advisable to carry out pre-sowing application with earnings, if the weather is dry, to a depth of 3-5 cm. The effectiveness of the product depends on the quality of soil preparation. The maximum result can be achieved if there are sufficient reserves of soil moisture, or when precipitation of at least 10-20 mm is expected within 2 weeks from the moment of application of the product. ASTREL PLUS as an insurance herbicide for the purpose of controlling annual weeds is used on corn in the early post-emergence period, before 3 true leaves of the crop or 2 leaves of weeds appear. During the growing season, the product completely decomposes in the soil, there are no restrictions on crop rotation for the next season. The recommended consumption rate of working fluid: from 200 to 300 l/ha.
