A small amount of magnesium (approximately 1%) does not "burn" the soil, but at the same time brings an increase in the content of magnesium in the amount in which it is needed by plants for healthy growth.

Chalk is a soft sedimentary rock. When it gets into the soil, chalk is not washed away by water and reacts only when acidity increases. Remaining there until deacidification, it can be said to become an automatic regulator of the acidity of your soil.
