Flower pollen is the most valuable medicinal and dietary food product.
The composition of pollen has not been fully studied, but what we do know speaks to its value. Water in pollen is 12-20%, proteins are 7-30%, amino acids are in it in the best, easily digestible form. Pollen also contains histidine, leucine, threonine, valine, tryptophan, carbohydrates (25-48%), vitamins: thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2). nicotinic acid (PP), pantoic acid, ascorbic acid (C), folic acid, biotin, carotene. The pollen contains approximately 17-25 mg/100 g of glucoside (rutin). Rutin prevents hemorrhage in the brain and retina, heart attacks.
To slow down aging or treat anemia, avitaminosis and other diseases, it is enough to consume 20-35 g of pollen or 2/3 tbsp. spoons.
