KTU-10 feed distributor is designed for transportation and distribution of green mass,silage and hay on large farms cattle and in summer camps. It consists of a sprung undercarriage, a metal body, working bodies and a drive. The working bodies consist of two chain-plate conveyors installed on the bottom of the body, one or two unloadingbelt conveyors, mounted on the frame of the feed-unloading device in front of the body, and comb beaters. The working bodies of the feed dispenser are powered by the GDPtractor. Longitudinal conveyors receive a pulsating or reversible movement from the drive, which consists of a crank-and-rod and ratchet mechanism, which allows you to adjust the feed delivery rate per unit of time by changing the speed of its movement and the direction of movement of the feeding conveyors.
The feed dispenser is designed to perform the following tasks: receiving, transporting and dosed distribution of crushed fodder and ready-made fodder mixtures to animals; transportation of various products with unloading back; metered supply of fodder to on-farm stationary fodder dispensers and to means of loading fodder storages. The feed dispenser is used on walking platforms, in typical livestock premises with a gate height and width of 2600 mm, a feed aisle width of at least 2300 mm, and a feeder height of up to 750 mm.
