Purpose:

Tabu® is an insecticidal poison for seeds and tubers of agricultural crops against a complex of pests that damage seedlings and also live in the soil.

This is a modern, complex formulation that ensures the uniform application of the active substance to the seeds and tubers and the formation of a very qualitatively painted, sufficiently strong film of the drug on their surface, which does not fall off after drying. During the preparation of the working solution, it does not form dust, after dilution with water it forms a stable suspension, during the etching process it does not form sediment at the bottom of the tank.

Characteristics of the active substance:
imidacloprid belongs to the chemical class of neonicotinoids.

Mechanism of action:
imidacloprid is characterized by an acute intestinal-contact effect on pests.

Tabu® has pronounced systemic activity, penetrates into seedlings and young plants from seeds, protecting them in the most vulnerable period. It actively affects the nervous system of harmful insects, blocking nicotinergic receptors of the postsynaptic nerve.

Action speed:
the drug quickly suppresses the transmission of signals by the central nervous system of insects.

Period of protective action:
provided that the recommendation for the use of the drug is followed, it provides full protection of the seedlings of the culture up to the phase of 2 - 3 pairs of true leaves.

Seed treatment of wheat, barley, corn,sunflower, rapeseed, flax, potato tubers, soybeans is carried out with moistening. Processing of sugar beet seeds is carried out at seed factories, according to the methods. Spraying the bottom of the furrow* with a solution of the drug is carried out during the planting of potatoes.

Compatibility:

Features of the drug:
Tabu® is low-toxic or practically non-toxic to mammals and birds. Highly toxic to earthworms, however, there is no danger of negative effects on earthworms at the recommended consumption rates. The drug is used as a seed poison, so it does not have a negative effect on bees. The antidote destroys populations of pests that have acquired resistance to preparations from the classes of organophosphorus compounds, pyrethroids, and carbamates.

Consumption of working fluid for seed processing:
- grain crops and potato tubers - up to 10 l/t,
- sunflower - 10 - 17,
-corns - 10 - 16,
-rape - up to 18 l/t.
100-200 l/ha of working solution should be used to treat the bottom of the furrow before planting potatoes.
