Today, the local television studio's news broadcast reported on how sponsors gave the colony for minors sets of textbooks for high school. The voice-over announcer says (I can't vouch for the accuracy, but the meaning is preserved): "Recently, the children's diet has been replenished with fresh vegetables, and now also with textbooks."
Of course, I understand that the granite of science needs to be gnawed, but what is it, almost literally...
