- Cereals
Under the conditions of optimal moisture supply, the highest efficiency and economic return in cereal grain crops is achieved by application according to the flag leaf (VVSN 37–39). In conditions of insufficient moisture, the optimal application phase will be VVSN 31–32 (phase of the first or second node), when the soil still contains sufficient reserves of productive moisture.

Nitrates, nitrites, ammonia and some organic substances can serve as sources of nitrogen nutrition for plants. Nitrates and ammonia are the most important for nutrition. Nitrates enter the plant through the root and participate in protein synthesis with the help of various enzymes. A certain step in the process of nitrogen metabolism in a plant is the transition from nitrate to nitrite. This step is catalyzed by the enzyme nitrate reductase.
Pyraclostrobin, which is part of Abacus®, increases the activity of nitrate reductase, which leads to increased nitrogen absorption and stimulates plant growth. Plants treated with Abacus® fungicide better absorb nitrogen from the soil and better assimilate it during the growing season.
