A9-KMY cucumber washing machine, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

The machine is intended for washing tomatoes, cucumbers, seed and stone fruits. It is used in technological lines for the processing of vegetables and fruits at small and medium capacity canning and vegetable drying enterprises. Productivity 1000 kg/h

The machine consists of a conveyor bath, a shower device, a grate, a filter, apump and a gear motor. The bath is conditionally divided into two parts: the rinsing and pre-washing zone and the final washing zone.

A valve is installed for quick removal of settled heavy impurities, and a hatch for complete removal of mud during sanitary treatment. The bathtub has platforms for installing a motor-reducer and a pump.

The conveyor is intended for transportation of raw materials from one zone to another and unloading from the machine. The roller conveyor includes a frame, drive and guide shafts, rollers and buckets. Rollers and buckets forming a conveyor belt are installed on the ends of the axles protruding from the chains. The rollers are part of the bottom of the buckets and when they hit the rubber guides located on the frame, they start to rotate.

The belt conveyor consists of a frame, drive and guide drums, a mesh conveyor belt with perforated plates.

The shower device is placed above the conveyor and is intended for supplying water to the raw materials during the final washing, includes a collector with nozzles, a nipple for connecting to the water supply network and an electromagnetic valve.

The grate is installed in the area of the washing and preliminary washing at an angle, prevents the raw material from sinking to the bottom of the bath, and separates heavy impurities from it. The filter is installed in the bathtub on the suction pipe and serves to filter the water supplied bywith a pump. Control of the drive of the conveyor, pump, shut-off valve of the water supply is carried out by electrical equipment.
