Design and description: Roll crusher, universal flattener is mobile and universal equipment for use in household and in the field of industrial production. It is intended for the production of flakes, groats and cakes from fine-grained raw materials and stalks using dry pressing. This unit crushes and flattens any
grains, legumes, oilseeds, as well as technical agricultural crops, berries, stem plants, if necessary, moistened. The resulting well-digestible finished product is flake plates with a thickness ranging from 0 to 50 mm. In the future, these flakes are used for human consumption, as well as for feeding cattle, domestic animals, pigs, rabbits, domestic animals, poultry, fish, etc. In addition, for production purposes, ivy grain flakes with all the proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins and microelements stored in them can be used for further production, for example, in the brewing industry, in horse breeding or for
production of compound feed in mixtures for further granulation.
Principle of operation:
The installation consists of a compression unit on the frame in the form of two leading parallel rolls driven by an electric motor through a belt-gear transmission. A hopper with a gate valve is installed on top of the pressing unit, and an unloading tray is installed on the bottom. Both rollers are attached to the frame through bearing housings with the possibility of adjusting the gap between the rollers from 0 to 50 mm. Both rollers are equipped with screw grooves to prevent grain from slipping. The gate valve installed in the guide loading hopper doses the supply of raw materials. When the grain falls between the rollers, it is captured and pulled into the gap between the rollers. As a result, the resulting plates of flakes or groats fall through the unloading tray into the pre-set container for the finished product. Brushes that remove stuck-on material are constantly in contact with the rolls. Also, the shafts are equipped with a safety spring mechanism, which allows to pass through accidentally fallen solid objects of a larger size without significant deformation of the shafts and to prevent jamming of the unit.
