Cage equipment for keeping laying quails OKP, Chernihiv region.

For the maintenance of laying quails, PJSC "Zavod" Nezhinselmash developed and put into production a 4-6-tier automated cellular equipment OKP, which successfully passed state tests, is used in farms in Ukraine, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Belarus, and Russia, and brings significant benefits to consumers economic effect.

1. When keeping poultry
• Wire grids of the rear wall of the nest and mesh partitions provide good lighting and excellent air circulation.(//tractor-service.com)
• Tray litter removal tape prevents litter from getting into the feeder and ensures optimal transportation of litter.
• The doors, which open in the plane of the front wall of the nest, make it easy to board and disembark the bird without injuring it.
• The egg collection system is level-by-level with their exit to the transfer table or manual from each section.
• Feed chutes made of galvanized steel with an inner board prevent loss of feed.
• Drinkers are located directly in the area of partitions. Undereach drinker a drip catcher is installed.
• Bunker (mobile) feed distribution system provides uniform delivery of feed, its constant mixing with the help of original dispensers.
• The presence of a plastic profile on the walls of longitudinal tench egg collection lines protects the egg from cuts.

2. When operating
• All parts of the battery frame have a zinc coating, thanks to which the possibility of corrosion is completely excluded.
• Racks of the frame made of channel provide rigidity of the frame.
• The floor is made of mesh, the floor slope is 7° for smooth rolling of eggs.
• The materials used in cellular batteries allow for both dry cleaning of the equipment when changing the poultry stock and hot pressure washing.

For small farms, a household cage of the OKP-5 type is also available for 600, 1000, 1200 and more heads.
