Advantages of using Alfa-Mais
1. High systemicity allows the drug to quickly move to the growth zones of roots and shoots.
2. Having a specific mechanism of action on the enzyme system of weeds, it affects them after a few hours.
3. There are no restrictions on crop rotation, it quickly decomposes in the soil, the half-life is 6 days.
4. It is possible to use in tank mixtures with various fungicides, insecticides and herbicides, but the preparations should be checked for compatibility.
5. High efficiency against the most harmful dicotyledonous weeds.

The mechanism of action of the herbicide Alfa-Mais
Alfa-Mais stops the division of weed cells by affecting their enzyme system. Suppresses the enzyme ALS (acetolactate synthetase) and stops weed growth a few hours after application. In sensitive weeds, it causes cessation of growth, chlorosis, death of growth points, necrosis and complete death.
More stable weeds or those that are in a later stage of development at the time of processing may stop their growth during the growing season, but they no longer represent competition for cultivated plants.
It acts mainly through the leaf surface of plants. Visible symptoms appear 3-7 days after application. The death of sensitive weeds can last 10-20 days.
Properties of Alfa-Mais herbicide
Spectrum of action: sensitive - Veronica (species), triple hibiscus, triple mustard, birch-like mustard, terrestrial mustard, kidney mustard, knotweed, field mustard, gorse (species), medium star, Theophrastus's rope, pikulki (species), tenacious nightshade,sunflower (2-4-leaf fallow), garden purslane, wild radish, chamomile (species), henbane, violet (species), styrica raskidystaya, nettle (species), marigolds, field nettle, common spergel, dried ribs, sorrel species), deaf nettle, common shepherd's bag, broad sedge, dog's romance, medicinal dandelion, rapeseed rapeseed, common mustard; Moderately sensitive - field thistle and yellow thistle, thistle, wild poppy, tenacious nightshade, common cruciferous ragweed, ragweed (2 leaves), oleander-like sedum, common sedum, one-year thicket, spreading swan, white marigold; resistant and less sensitive - field bindweed, milk thistle (species), small-flowered halinsoga, black nightshade.
General recommendations for use
The highest effectiveness of the drug is observed when spraying annual weeds in the phase of 2-4 leaves. To increase the herbicidal effect of Alfa-Mais, it is necessary to use surfactants
substances (Alphalyp, 0.1 l / 100 l of water).
It is not recommended to use corn, sweet corn and popcorn on parental lines. Do not use in a tank mixture with organophosphorus insecticides and do not apply within 14 days before (or after) treatment with organophosphorus insecticides. Treatment with graminicides should be carried out no earlier than 5 days after application.
Crops should not be processed during periods of stress (cold or hot weather). Do not use Alfa-Mais in a tank mixture with herbicides based on imazetapyr or after spraying soybean crops with these drugs.
It is recommended to use tank mixtures on corn crops:
• Alpha-maize 10 g/ha + Alpha-dicamba 0.3 - 0.4 l/ha + Alfalip 0.1 l/100 l of water.
• Alpha-maize 10 g/ha + alpha-Ether, 0.4-0.5 l/ha + Alfalip, 0.1 l/100 l of water;
• Alfa-Mais, 10 g/ha + Ramses 40-50 g/ha + Alfalip 0.1 l/100 l of water.

The rate of consumption of working fluid is 200-300 l/ha.
