Seeder UPS 8, seeding section of precision seeding, Kharkiv region.

Seeder UPS 8 with sectionprecise seeding, seeding section of the seeder UPS is improved, namely equipped double-circuit drive of the new structure. The drive is located at a greater height than inseeders of the old model. Combined with improved protection, this enables more efficient work on fields contaminated with plant residues. The seeder is equipped with a durable hydraulic marker with an increased diameter of the disk, thanks to which it is possible to adjust the angle of attack to create a more noticeable trail. The semi-automatic coupling allows you to safely and easily connect the equipment to thetractor. The seeder is equipped with a centrifugal fan driven by the tractor PTO at 540 rpm. For guaranteed retention of heavy seeds of leguminous crops (soy, etc.) on the holes of the seeding discs, the fan of the seeder is equipped with an additional air duct. The beam of the seeder frame is the receiver of its pneumatic system. It reduces the pulsation of air masses, which contributes to obtaining uniform seeding on each section. The overrunning clutch of the fan reliably protects the belt transmission from severe wear. The presence of a skylight window makes it possible to visually control the quality of work.
One-grain precision seeding is ensured by a comb-type dropper of double seeds. The seeder produces accurate single-grain sowing with a rate of two to forty seeds per linear meter.
