The SZF-5.400-T seeder is intended for regular sowing of grain and leguminous seeds both separately and with simultaneous sowing of loose and non-loose grass seeds and application of granular mineral fertilizers.
The seeder from the main hoppers through disc coulters sows seeds of grain and leguminous crops, as well as medium-flowing (asparagus, rye, fescue) and non-flowing (fireweed, ryegrass, etc.) grass seeds.
Small loose grass seeds (alfalfa, clover, timothy, rape) are sown from grass bunkers, and loose grass seeds are sown under grain cover.
The central bar of the frame is strengthened, it eliminates the deflection of the unit.
The volume of the main hopper has been increased to 1.5 tons. The hopper is equipped with a new type of shock absorber.
Powder (detail) painting of the bunker significantly increases its service life, protects against corrosion.
Wide rubber 12.4R28 evenly distributes the load of the unit on the soil.
The seeder is equipped with markers on which separate hydraulic cylinders are installed, which facilitates their control by the operator from the tractor cabin.

An offset coulter is installed - it prevents clogging of coulters with weeds and crop residues, reduces traction resistance, allows you to work on wet soils without soil sticking to the coulter.
The unified design of the unit ("coiler and rollerroller") allows you to adjust the coulter to a certain depth of seed placement with an interval of 1 cm. Maintaining the parameter of the depth of seed placement affects uniform germination, increasing productivity.
To order, the planters are equipped with a transport device, which allows them to be moved on general purpose roads without the use of additional means of transport.

The seeder is equipped with various coulters and sets of sealing working bodies, thanks to which it can be converted from one version to another in the conditions of the farm.
