Propolis is a product of processing by bees of resinous substances of plant origin (bee glue). The main property of propolis, widely used in medical practice, is bactericidal and bacteriostatic. Application can suppress the activity and destroy up to 200 bacteria and microorganisms (a wide range of microorganisms, including the tubercle bacillus, viruses, protozoa (trichomonas), fungi (trichophytosis), candidiasis, influenza and hepatitis viruses). Moreover, propolis destroys and removes foreign
cells, and keeps the native microflora of the host organism intact and safe. Therefore, when using propolis, the intestinal microflora does not suffer, and there will be no dysbacteriosis, unlike favorite antibiotics. Both alcohol and water solutions of propolis have this property.
Application The tincture is used both externally and internally.
Alcohol tincture of propolis can be taken internally for colds, flu, acute and chronic bronchitis, inflammation and tuberculosis of the lungs, hypertension, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, acute and chronic colitis. The dose can be 20-60 drops. It is taken in half a glass of water (a liquid emulsion of a milky color with small
flakes) or milk is formed, the course of treatment is 5-30 days, depending on the disease (for gastric ulcer - 3-4 weeks, it can be repeated after a 15-day break).
Propolis tincture for children is calculated according to the principle: for 1 hour of a child - 1/20 of an adult dose. A 10-year-old child, for example, is prescribed half the adult dose.
Side effects. When treated with alcohol tincture of propolis (mainly when it is abused), lethargy, loss of appetite, an increase in the number of leukocytes in the blood, and sometimes allergic reactions (usually manifested in the form of itching, reddening of the skin and rashes on it) can be noted, less often - the temperature rises, weakness and other general symptoms appear, which disappear after stopping the treatment with propolis.
The drug should be stored in a well-sealed container made of dark glass, protected from light and in a cool place. Then it retains its healing properties for 3-5 years.

Vertebral osteochondrosis (treatment with propolis) Roll out propolis in the form of a thin cake of the required size and, having applied it to the painful area, cover it with a piece of adhesive plaster of a larger area. Keep propolis on the painful area for 1-2 days. A similar procedure is carried out with a break of 12-24 hours until the pain completely disappears.
Ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum (treatment with propolis) Alcoholic solution (70 degrees) of 10% propolis should be taken inside 15-20 drops with boiled milk or tea 3 times a day 1-1.5 hours before meals for 18-20 days. Will repeat the course in 1-2 weeks.
It is necessary to strictly observe the dosage: large doses can negatively affect the treatment. When taking propolis, the pain usually decreases on the 4-5th day, and disappears after 10-12.
TREATMENT AND FILLING OF TEETH IN THE NATURAL WAY
For the treatment of teeth, two vodka tinctures are usually used - 10% air on 40-degree vodka and 10% propolis (70 degrees). Pour 20-30 grams into a glass. tincture of ayra, add 15-20 drops of propolis and rinse your teeth intensively for 1.5-2 minutes, 2-3 times a day. The procedure is not pleasant. The duration of the procedures depends on the condition of the toothache, although pain sensations disappear for 1-3 days. Propolis and alkonoids of yarrow penetrate into the deep points of sick teeth, yarrow numbs the roots, and propolis seals all microcracks. The teeth stop hurting altogether, and their growth is observed. It has been noticed that even the remaining barely holding root is attached to the gums and allows them to press on them while eating without any painful sensations, and even broken roots stop being destroyed and within a few years noticeably grow back and become functional. Periodontitis is treated with this method.
Also, propolis is used to prevent caries and periodontal disease. For 20-30 gr. 15-20 drops of propolis tincture are added to the water, a white suspension is obtained, which intensively rinses the oral cavity. And all this is swallowed. When rinsing, a thin film of propolis forms on the surface of the enamel of the teeth, which disinfects and seals the microcracks of the teeth. Our tooth enamel is a constantly growing bone tissue that tightens these cracks. At the same time, the oral cavity is disinfected. When propolis is ingested, it supports the microflora of the stomach and absorbs blood. At the first signs of diarrhea (stomach disorder) it is taken orally and gives good results.
At the first signs of angina, gargle with the same solution 2-3 times a day. You will feel the results right away!!!
At the first signs of pain in the ears, 10% propolis is diluted in half with water and 5-6 drops are instilled 2-3 times a day.
Propolis tincture effectively acts on wounds, cuts, burns, bedsores, possessing bactericidal properties.
Tincture of propolis is also used when various irritations and rashes appear on the male and female genital organs. When applied, a slight burning sensation is felt.
When used, the tincture should be kept in the bathroom, next to the toothbrushes. This is a reminder about taking care of your teeth and oral cavity!
