Application of potassium chloride.

In agriculture. Potassium chloride is the most common highly concentrated potassiumfertilizer. It is used in systems of mineral nutrition of crops in all soil and climatic zones of Ukraine for basic soil cultivation.
It is advisable to use in the fall for feeding wheat and other crops that are insensitive to the harmful effects of chlorine. It is not recommended to use potassium chloride on crops sensitive to chlorine (potatoes on chips, flax,grapes, tomatoes, tobacco, citrus, decorative crops), especially on loamy soils.
In medicine. Potassium is the main intracellular ion that plays an important role in the regulation of body functions. It is used for heart rhythm disorders, intoxication after the introduction of cardiac glycosides and diuretics (diuretics), with a lack of potassium in the body.
