A computer technician keeps an old, still Soviet, RAM chip on his desk in a transparent box, left over from his first home-made computer. The guests are interested in what it is, and when he explains it, they ask why he keeps it, because there is no use for it anymore. To which the computer guy answers: "She is as dear to me as memory" :)
