Constructional features include five rows of spring-loaded uprights with a 260 mm claw, three rows of spring combs, and a rolling roller.
The use of a 5-row arrangement made it possible to achieve high-quality leveling of the field surface, and a tandem of spring combs and a rolling roller forms an even mulched field surface.
To level the field surface, a spring comb with an adjustable angle of attack of the teeth is located behind the working bodies of the cultivator. The final crushing of earth blocks and leveling of the field surface is carried out by tubular rollers. If necessary, the specified functions of KPG-8 can be easily dismantled completely or partially (comb or roller). The processing depth is regulated by the limiters of the stroke of the hydraulic cylinder rod by simply repositioning the adjustment stop rings. The power required for cultivator operation depends on the type and humidity of the soil, the shape of the cultivator paw, the amount of harvest residues on the surface of the field, the depth of soil treatment, working speed and many other factors.
