Perennial medicinal and honey plant. The height reaches up to 2 meters. Blooms in July and August. Lilac-purple flowers release nectar and
pollen. They are willingly visited by bees. Honey productivity of solid burdock stands is on average 100 kg per 1 ha. Honey is aromatic, highly astringent, dark in color, pleasant to the taste.
The sowing rate is 2-3 kg per hectare. The planting depth is 2-3 cm. It grows everywhere, does not like the land. It reproduces well by self-sowing. A difficult plant to remove. Sometimes in nature it forms solid thickets. Since burdock blooms in the second half of summer, it is an important late-summer, supporting for
