The purpose of equipment such as OGM 1.5 press-granulator is to granulate different types of biomass: sunflower huskssunflowers, wood waste,combined fodder, bran, straw.  Almost everything can be subjected to the granulation process on this press.

Principle of action
The material prepared for granulation enters the screw conveyor and is loaded into the hopper, from where the flour is fed uniformly into the mixer, where it is moistened with water or steam to the humidity required for granulation and intensively mixed with a stirrer.  Moisture contributes to the formation of strong granules.  From the mixer, the moistened mass is discharged into the press.  Between the rotating matrix and the pressing rollers, the resulting mass is pushed under high pressure through the matrix holes, and granules are formed.  High-temperature and fragile granules are transported by a funnel into the cooler.  In the cooling process, the granules acquire the necessary hardness, moisture and temperature.  From the cooler, the granules are sent to sorting, where the conditioning granules are separated from the crumbs.  Granules are taken out through the discharge nozzle, and the crumb is sucked into the cyclone and further sent together with the main mass for re-pressing.
Packaging and transportation
The OGM-1,5A granulator is shipped without packaging.  For  transportation  of  the  equipment  of  full  completeness  a  standard  van is needed.
