Axial fan VO-12.5 (Fig. 2), consists of a housing (1), a diffuser (2), an electric motor (3), an aerodynamic valve (louver) (4),wheels working (5), a V-belt transmission (6), a guard mesh (7). The body is a box structure made of a bent profile of galvanized steel. The working wheel consists of a hub with 6 aluminum blades and a pulley attached to it.
It is mounted on axles by means of ball bearings. The engine is mounted on a movable plate in the upper part of the housing, on which the belt tension adjustment is installed, and transmits rotation to the impeller through a V-belt transmission. To prevent outside air from entering and creating drafts in the room (in the non-working state), the fan has shutters that are attached to the housing. In the working condition, the blades of the blinds open under the action of the moving air flow and loads - counterweights. When the fan is working, air is taken from the room and thrown outside. For safety purposes, the impeller is protected by a protective net.
