ADVANTAGES OF TRANSPORTERKARTOFELEKOPALKA WIRAX:
(//tractor-service.com)
1. Productivity
Thanks to the optimal design of the tractortransporter potato digger Wirax achieves its increased efficiency - more than 98% of tubers remain on the surface of the field after processing. This indicator significantly exceeds those achieved when harvesting potatoes with the help of a potato digger or aplow.
The conveyor digger has two main components:
• Knives (plows) that cut the soil and grab the soil layer together with the potato in it;
• Conveyor belt consisting of metal rods arranged in a staggered order. On the conveyor, the tubers are moved not only horizontally, but also up and down in steps, thanks to which they are cleaned from the soil, which is
falls out between the bars. The tubers cleaned of soil and stones are thrown into the field, from where they must be collected by hand.
Such a potato digger has a working speed of 8 km/h and thanks to this, it can process up to 30 hectares in a time.
2. Optimum capture width
The transporter potato digger to the minitractor digs one row of potatoes in one pass across the field. The width of the grip of 60 cm provides the most effective digging, it is enough so that the tubers do not remain in the ground.
3. Adjustable processing depth
The gripping depth can be adjusted with the help of fasteners, transport wheels, and also a three-point hydraulic hitch system. The maximum depth that can be set is 25 cm.
4. Effective cleaning
The indisputable advantage of this unit is a long conveyor belt, which ensures maximum cleaning of potatoes from stones, soil and earthen clods.
5. High maneuverability
The dimensions of 2350x1100x1240 mm and the presence of transport wheels, which ensure uniform deepening of the plows of the unit into the soil, give the potato digger increased maneuverability. Such a potato digger can be aggregated to tractors
with a capacity of 18 hp.
6. A wide range of uses.
In addition to harvesting potatoes, the conveyor digger is suitable for digging up other small root vegetables - beets, large garlic, onions.
