In folk medicine, white foxglove is also used for prolapse of the uterus [Mykolaeva, 1964], heart diseases, and also for regulating menstruation [Ivanov et al., 1977]; powder from grass and rhizomes is sprinkled on abscesses [Cholovsky, 1882]. In addition, phytotherapists recommend using foxglove for the treatment of diseases of the liver, cardiovascular system and gastrointestinal tract, in particular, ulcers, as well as as an antiseptic and wound-healing agent. A decoction of the roots is used for gout, rheumatism, jaundice, dysentery.
