Precise seeder SU-8 (SUPN) from VOM, Cherkasy region.

Precise seeding planter SU-8, analogue of SUPN - a universal pneumatic seeder designed for precise sowing of calibrated seeds of corn, sunflower, sorghum, soybeans, etc.. SU-8 precision seeding seeders (SUPN) are equipped with plastic grain hoppers, as well as fat hoppers, which makes it possible to simultaneously apply separate granular mineral seeds fertilized
Katok rolling on the section allows you to roll the soil in rows. Rolling the soil in the sown rows improves the contact between the seeds and the moist soil, while ensuring the capillary rise of moisture and creating favorable conditions for earlier seed growth.
It is possible to sow uncalibrated seeds with the SU-8 seed drill (SUPN), but in this case the accuracy will depend on the difference in size and degree of damage to the seed material.
Pros of precision seed drills SU-8
1. Precision seed drills ensure sowing at the final density, excluding the use of manual labor when forming the required interval between plants.
2. Pneumatic sowing devices of precision seed drills reduce seed crushing by 10 times compared to mechanical ones.(//tractor-service.com)
3. The precision seed drill SU-8 SUPN is equipped with a centrifugal fan with a PTO drive. That significantly increases the accuracy of seeding in comparison with similar seed drills of domestic production of early configurations.
To regulate the vacuum of the air flow in the SU-8 seeders (SUPN), a damper is used on the fan. The fan is also equipped with an overrunning clutch that protects the belt transmission from increased wear.
On request, the seeder can be equipped with a durable hydrofed marker, which has the ability to change the angle of attack to obtain a clearly visible trace.
Also, upon request, the seeder is equipped with a transport device that allows it to be moved on general purpose roads without the use of additional means of transport.
The beam of the seeder frame acts as a receiver, ensures the same vacuum in all seeding devices and eliminates the pulsation of the air flow.
The set of sowing sections of the SU-8 seeder (SUPN) includes discs for sowing corn and sunflower seeds.
The number of seeds falling from the bunkers into the sowing chamber is regulated by a shutter.
