The Sadko M-400 cultivator is one of the most popular models of Sadko cultivators due to the use of an active cutter.

The shaft that goes from the engine to the cutters is collapsible, securely fastened with 8 bolts.

The principle of operationof this cultivator is that there are transportwheels, which move at a certain speed, and active cutters that process the soil. The Sadko engine is made of the Honda type and is equipped with an oil level sensor. If the oil is not filled, the engine will not start, and if the oil suddenly runs out during operation, the engine will simply turn off. On the engine there are two oil filler necks for oil in the crankcase, it will be convenient to fill from any side. Also, do not forget to pour oil into the transmission oil in the gearbox.

The coarse and fine air filter is moved forward. There is much less load on the filter than on ordinary cultivators, because the main dust comes from under the cutter, but it goes back. The long distance to the mills, then the dusting of the filter is minimal. The dual-purification air filter protects the engine even in the dustiest conditions when working on dry land. We recommend cleaning the filter before each use.

This model in the cultivation mode processes a width of 40 cm in one pass. For those who think that this is not enough: the cultivator is very easy to work due to the active cutters, so you will get much more time, and you will be tired less. Moreover, soil processing is usually done twice an hour.
There is a special finger on the wheels: for work or movement on the move, the wheels are attached to the shaft. To transport the cultivator manually, the wheels must be set to free rotation. The whole procedure will take about half a minute.
The Sadko M-400 is equipped with protection for the operator's legs. The special plate is raised when deepening so that the operator's feet do not fall under the cutters.
To control the depth of tillage, there is an adjustable depth limiter. You set it up and choose the required depth of cultivation. It is also possible to put a hitch on the cultivator, on which you can install attached equipment.
The height of the handle is adjustable in height in three positions. Fastening on bolts, it will take only a couple of minutes to install.

After buying Sadko M-400:

1. The cultivator is shipped in a box with a metal frame and a plywood bottom. The dimensions are approximately 100*50*50 cm. Two men will lift the box without any problems. It will fit in the trunk if it is not less than a meter wide.

2. The cultivator is disassembled into several main components, it will be necessary to attach the handles, put it on wheels. Assembly is quick and not difficult. Keys and bolts included. Do not attach the wheels to the shaft for transportation to the site, but set them free for the time being.

3. Fill in SAE10W30 oil. The cultivator will not start without oil, there is a sensor.

4. Check the air filter.

5. Fill in A-92 or A-95 gasoline. The instructions indicate A-92, practice shows that 95 sometimes works faster. Although, there is more question about the quality of gasoline, which is not the best in Ukraine.

6. Open the fuel valve and close the air damper for starting. Pump the gas a couple of times. Turn on the toggle switch on the handle and start the engine with a manual start. Starts easily with good fuel.

7. After the engine warms up, open the air valve (handle in the same direction as the fuel tap). The sound will become quieter and smoother.

8. Before use, we advise you to run in the cultivator, the first tank at idle speed, periodically giving gas. It is necessary to do this so that the piston rubs and works well in the future. Then you can ride, then work on light soil. In general, the better the break-in, the longer the engine will last, and this is a third of the price of the cultivator.
