The 2PTS-6 tractor trailer consists of a chassis, a platform and a set of sides. The chassis, which is used to install a platform on it, in turn consists of a frame, a turning device, front and rear axles with suspensions, a hydraulic system of overturning the platform, electrical equipment, and a braking system.

The frame of the 2PTS-6 tractor trailer is a welded construction consisting of two longitudinal spars connected to each other by transverse beams. The turning device, which is used for the maneuverability of the tractor-trailer during movement, is installed in the front part of the frame and consists of a turning wheel, the frame of the turning trolley and a spindle. The turning wheel is ball-bearing, single-row. The front and rear axles withunified wheels are attached via semi-elliptic leaf springs to the frame of the rotary trolley and the rear part of the frame of the tractor trailer.The wheels of the front axle are equipped with a drum-type brake mechanism with a pneumatic drive in comparison with thetractor braking system. The hydraulic equipment of the 2PTS-6 tractor trailer is intended for overturning the platform during unloading using a hydraulic cylinder.
