Thanks to the concept of a modular mowing traverse and a side drive, this mower can mow at extremely large angles of inclination for a long time. The side drive and V-belts allow you to raise the machine during mowing at an angle of up to 90° or lower it at an angle of 50°. Thanks to the modular design, permanent lubrication of the mower's components is ensured.

Splendimo Classic mowers are easily brought into the transport position from the tractor cab. The machine is simply raised with the help of the same cylinder that is used to lift it into the turning position. The machine tilts to 90° and is independently fixed in this position to ensure safe transportation. Thanks to the compact design of the Classic mower, a small transport width is provided.

The durable side drive is standard on all Classic models and is a combination of a V-belt drive and a side drive (with an internal shoe) that drives the mowing traverse. The indisputable advantage of the Classic system is that the mowing traverse is activated at very large angles and can work even in the tilted up position.

The Classic 205 and 240 models with the designation HD (Heavy Duty) are designed specifically for mowing vegetation on roadsides and in fallow fields. The protective coating is made of particularly durable animal material. Along with standard sliding skids, this mower with reinforced construction is equipped with wear plates made of hardened steel with a thickness of 8 mm. Thanks to the modular design of the mowing traverse, the machine is very easy to maintain. All Splendimo mowers with reinforced construction are equipped with a three-component hexagonal drive shaft. Possible repair costs are very insignificant, since the damage is local in nature, and if necessary, the mowing traverse can always be repaired quickly and simply on the spot. In addition to models with a side drive, front mowers Splendimo 240 F and 280 F of reinforced construction are also available. Thanks to the special features of the suspension and the presence of a hydraulic cylinder for lifting the mower on the turning strip, these front mowers are especially suitable for working on uneven soils.

Mechanism of lateral displacement

To ensure the possibility of using the front mower in any conditions and overlapping on slopes, there is a hydraulic cylinder of lateral displacement, which allows you to move the mower by 15 cm to the left or right with the help of hydraulics. The hydraulic cylinder is installed between the matching hydraulic cylinder and the lifting mechanism. A double-action valve is required to control the hydraulic cylinder.
