The SUPN-8 precision seeder is intended for dotted sowing of calibrated and uncalibrated sorted seeds of corn, sunflower, castor and sorghum, as well as seeds of fodder beans, soybeans, beans and lupine with simultaneous, separate from the seeds, application of mineral fertilizers and rolling of the soil in the rows.
Planters are aggregated with MTZ-80 tractors.

Fan Frame Support-drivewheels Markers Hinged device Drive mechanism Working section device: Hopper Sowing device Combined coulter Wrappers Rolling wheel Loop Parallelogram frame Sowing device device: Disc with holes Dumping fork Auger Gasket with sickle-shaped cutout Housing Housing cover with fitting PRINCIPLE WORK The seeds from the hopper enter the seeding device by gravity, they approach the holes, on the reverse side of the hole there is a sickle-shaped cutout of the gasket. The harrow prevents the seeds from clumping and improves the access of the seeds to the holes. The vacuum from thepump is brought to the notch. As a result, the seeds are sucked into the holes. The disc rotates and brings the holes with the seeds to the dump fork. If two seeds are attached to the hole, only one seed will pass through the tines of the fork. Next, the holes with the seeds go down, the cutout in the gasket ends, the vacuum disappears and the seed falls into the coulter. The coulter makes a furrow, first lays the fat, they are sprinkled with earth, and then, in the furrow, the seeds fall, so that there is no contact between the seeds and the fat, and the seeds do not burn. Wrappers close the furrow, the rolling wheel compacts the soil in the seed zone, and the plume levels the field surface. ADJUSTMENTS Seed sowing rate — by the speed of the seeding disc — by changing the gear ratio in the reducer — 45 gears. The depth of sowing seeds by rearranging the coulter connecting the coulter with the parallelogram frame — repositioning the coulter by one hole changes the depth by 1 cm. The width of the rows — by stopping the working sections along the frame — from the center to the edges. The width of inter-row joints — by changing the distance of the markers. The fat seeding rate is by changing the size of the discharge window on the fat seeding device.
