Originator: DU Institute ofgrain crops National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Listed in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2020.

The hybrid is resistant to lodging and damage by major diseases and pests. The average yield in the environmental test of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 9 locations in Ukraine in 2017 was 8.07 t/ha, in 2018 – 7.14 t/ha, and in 2019 – 8.43 t/ha, with a grain moisture content of 18.2; 15.9 and 13.3% respectively by year. In 2018, the maximum yield was recorded at the Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Chabany) - 12.87 t/ha. According to the genetic formula, it is close to the DN Khortytsia hybrid, but it is superior to it in terms of drought resistance and heat resistance, and it is more tolerant to stress caused by herbicides. On average, during 2016-2019, the DN Stride hybrid exceeded the standard by 0.37 t/ha at close grain moisture.
