The Baya Marisa® apple tree is a popular, relatively new variety of apple tree that stands out for its unique red flesh.

Origin: The variety was bred at the Bavarian Center for Fruit Growing (Germany) by crossing the variety 'Weirouge' and selection clone 166.
Ripening period: It is considered an early winter or autumn variety. The fruits usually ripen at the end of September - the beginning of October, and they are ripe for consumption in October.
Fruits: Medium size, completely red. The main feature is the intensely red pulp, which retains its color even after heat treatment.
Taste: It has a pleasant sour-sweet taste with a pronounced aroma and notes ofstrawberries.
Uses: Ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for making juices, jams, baking, fruitsalads and drying, as the red color of the pulp adds an aesthetic appeal to finished products.
Storage: The fruits keep well for a long time, usually until January-February.
Durability: The tree has moderate growth strength and good frost resistance (withstands temperatures down to -30°C).
