Long-term pest control
Protection of young shoots and leaves that grow after processing
Mechanism of action
An insecticide based on imidacloprid, due to its contact-intestinal properties, causes damage to the nervous system of adult insects and their larvae, irritation of their receptors, convulsions and rapid death.
The drug penetrates all parts of the plant through the leaves, stems, and roots and is transported along them acropetally.
Imidacloprid acts as an antagonist of postsynaptic nicotinic receptors, with subsequent destruction of the central nervous system of insects, as a result of which pests die. At relatively low rates of application, it suppresses the number of insects for a long period (in most cases, one treatment per season is enough)
Spectrum of action
The drug well controls such major pests as aphids, whiteflies, thrips, scale insects, bugs, weevils, wireworms, ground beetles, leafhoppers, miners, termites, locusts, etc.
