Branch shredder PG-120BD produced by TM "Palche" is designed for processing and shredding branches, rails and other wood waste by cutting it into pieces 9-18 cm long, which are ideal for use as fuel for boilers, furnaces, fireplaces, as well as for the production of charcoal. The model of this chopper PG-120BD is capable of cutting branches of soft rock with a diameter of up to 12 cm, branches of hard rock with a diameter of up to 10 cm, (flat material) lamellas and rails up to 6 cm.

The PG-120BD branch shredder is powered by a 18 hp gasoline engine. without needing additional equipment in the form of atractor or power grid, fuel consumption (petrol A-92) is up to 800 g/h. The productivity of the shredder is up to 10 m³ of finished products per hour. The convenience of this unit lies in its mobility, that is, the lack of attachment to a power source, which makes it convenient for use in parks, forest strips, etc. The use of a branch shredder is most useful for communal services, woodworking farms, forestry farms, sawmills, farms and private individuals (to facilitate the fuel harvesting process). The full production cycle of the branch chopper takes place at our enterprise.

Design features

PG series units are equipped with a cylindrical cutting system and three types of drives. The configuration of six knives is given special attention in the development of structures of shredders, since they are the main working element of the shredders and they receive the impact load. In addition, steel knives are heat-treated to give them strength, and for safe operation they are closed with shredder elements.

Principle of operation

The branch shredder mechanism automatically pulls in the material to be cut. We carry out quality control at all stages of our production. All landing surfaces must be polished. The quality of welds is constantly monitored. Mechanism housings are made of certified sheet with a thickness of 20 mm. Before painting, we clean all structures.The shredders are coated with powder paint, which greatly extends the service life of the structures. A reliable case ensures durability and stability of devices.
