NA 40 C is characterized by high yield potential, excellent drought resistance, frost resistance and resistance to lodging. It is not demanding to growing conditions, adapts to different types of soils, so it is recommended for cultivation throughout Ukraine, even in areas with elaborated agriculture. Another important feature that distinguishes this variety of wheat - simultaneous and rapid ripening seeds ||umber=, so the harvest can be carried out in the early stages. Characteristics of winter wheat variety NA 40 C: winter wheat variety of NA 40 C has an erect medium-sized bush. The shape of the ear is cylindrical. The ear is characterized by medium density and size. It has moderate wax plaque and ostyuki. The protein content in the seed is 11-13%. The content of wet gluten-24-30%. The variety of Serbian Winter Wheat of NA 40 C has average genetic resistance to major diseases - Fusarium, powdery mildew, rust. Despite the fact that the variety of winter wheat of the emergency of 40 C grown to us from Serbia, it is perfectly adapted to our conditions of cultivation. During the years of testing of this variety in the fields of our country the average yield was 7.5 t/ha. The yield potential under unfavorable conditions is 4-6 t/ha, under normal conditions-7-9 t/ha, and under favorable conditions-more than 10 t/ha.
