Originator - Institute of plant breeding named after V. Ya. Yuryeva NAAS. Entered into the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2004 for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine.

Varietal characteristics.
The variety leuсurum is a white spike, spiny, dense, not pubescent, cylindrical, 6-8 cm long, does not fall off, does not break, medium drooping. Spikelets are white along the entire length of the ear, long, parallel, rough, jagged. The grain size is medium, the weight of 1000 grains is 40-45 g, amber, semi-elongated, the groove is medium, the phenol color is weak. Spikelet scales are medium, lanceolate, the nerves are weakly expressed, the tooth is short, sharp. The shoulder is narrow, slanted, the beak-like keel is strongly pronounced. The bush is upright, the stem is strong, full.

Biological signs.
A variety of the forest-steppe ecotype, medium-ripening, the duration of the growing season is 77-110 days. Resistant to lodging, the height of the plants is 85-100 cm. The ear is easily milked. In terms of resistance to volatile soot, brown rust and powdery mildew, the variety is at the standard level, in terms of resistance to solid soot it exceeds the standard.(//tractor-service.com)

Economic signs.
Potential yield of 5.5 t/ha. Gluten content 34-36%, protein content 14.5-16.5%.

Agrotechnical requirements.
The sowing rate is 4.5 million similar grains per hectare. The variety is characterized by high ecological plasticity, which contributes to its wide distribution in production.
