 Economic and biological characteristics:

                    * High-yielding. On average, over three years, the yield increase to the Kharkivska 27 standard was 3.7 t/ha.

        * Medium-ripe (stalked 5 days later than the early-ripe standard Kharkivska 27)(//tractor-service.com)

        * Resistant to lodging, drought and shedding

        * Resistant against powdery mildew, brown rust, septoriosis and fusarium head blight.

Qualitygrain. Nature of grain 800 g/l, vitreousness 98%, raw gluten content 31.0–36.0%, protein – 15.6%.

Approbation signs. A variety of leucurum. Low-growing (75–85 cm). The spike is pyramidal, short (6.0–7.5 cm), dense (25 spikelets per 10 cm of stem length). The spines are long (14–15 cm), elastic, strongly serrated, diverging at an angle of 20° in the middle part. Spikelet scales are medium, elongated, with strongly expressed nerves. The shoulder is slanted, narrow. The tooth is short, slightly bent. The keel is wide, moderately pronounced. The grain is elongated, medium, the groove is narrow, shallow. Weight of 1000 grains 43.5 g.

Agrotechnical requirements.  Semi-intensive variety. Demanding to growing conditions. The best precursors are perennial and annual leguminous grasses, leguminous-cereal mixtures, peas, soybeans, sugar beets (except in very dry years),corn for green fodder and silage, potatoes. Sowing dates are early. The sowing rate is 6 million similar grains per 1 ha, up to 7 million after worse predecessors. Sow with calibrated, poisoned seeds of high reproduction. The depth of wrappingseeds 3–5 cm, in the case of rapid drying of the top layer of soil – 4–6 cm followed by rolling. Makes good use of the after-effect of fertilizers applied under the predecessor. The main mineral fertilizer is N60P60K60 kg/ha per year. The same rate is also appropriate for typical chernozem.

The yield of the Diana variety on the fields of the "Peremoga" STOV over the past 3 years was - 50.1 t/ha.
