The variety was created from an interspecies hybrid combination with the participation of the soft wheat variety Kharkivska 12 and the selection line of hard wheat 89-752 at the Institute of Plant Breeding named after V. Ya. Yuryeva NAAS. Since 2014, the variety has been included in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine.

The variety is medium-ripening, the growing season is one day shorter than the standard. Medium-sized, plant height reaches 90 cm, resistant to lodging. In terms of resistance to powdery mildew, septoriosis, and brown rust, it is at the standard level.

During the years of study in the competitive variety test, it showed the following indicators with a corresponding exceedance of the standard: yield 3.51 t/ha (+0.44 t/ha), overall evaluation of pasta properties 7.9 points (+0.9 points), color || |168макаронів 8.7 points (+1.6 points), mass of one thousand grains 37.8 g (+2.3 g), raw gluten content 35% (+2 %) , strength of flour 249 o. and. (+59 o. a.), the nature of the grain is at the level of the standard.

Approbation features: variety of leucurum, ear white, spiny, medium length, pyramidal, medium density, not brittle. The spikes are jagged, longer than the ear. The grain is amber, egg-shaped. The mass of 1000 grains is 34-38 g, resistance to shedding is high. The height of the plants is 75-90 cm, the straw is moderately filled, the bush is semi-erect. Spike scale not pubescent, elongated, shoulder raised, medium, tooth short, slightly bent.
