Originator - Institute of plant breeding named after V. Ya. Yuryeva NAAS.
Entered into the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2006 for cultivation in the Steppe zone of Ukraine.

Varietal characteristics. Variety - leucurum. The ear is cylindrical, medium length - 6-8 cm, medium density, not pubescent, white, spiny, does not fall off, not brittle, drooping is average. The spines are white, long, parallel, rough, jagged, white. The grain is medium, semi-elongated, the color is amber, the groove is medium, the phenol color is weak, the weight of 1000 grains reaches 45 g. Spikelet scales are medium, lanceolate, nerves are weakly expressed. The tooth is short, sharp, the shoulder is narrow, beveled, the beak-like keel is strongly pronounced. Biological signs. The variety is characterized by significant drought resistance and high productivity potential. Medium ripe, the length of the growing season is 101 days. It is moderately resistant to lodging, the height of the plants is 95-100 cm. The ear is easily threshed. In terms of resistance to brown rust and powdery mildew, the variety is at the level of the standard, in terms of resistance to hard and powdery mildew, the variety exceeds the standard.

Economic signs. The potential yield is 5.3 t/ha. The gluten content is 34-36%, the protein content is 14.5-16.5%. Pasta properties are good. Since 2010, the variety has been the national standard of the State Service for the Protection of Rights to Plant Varieties for all zones of Ukraine, which indicates its exceptional ecological plasticity.

Agrotechnical requirements. The sowing rate is 4.5 million similar grains per hectare.Seeds must be treated with fungicide and insecticide before sowing.
