Medium ripe. Plant height 80-95 cm. Resistance to lodging 9 points. Increased winter hardiness (8.5 points), high drought resistance (9 points).

Grain full, elongated, weight of 1000 grains 45-48 g. Flour milling and baking qualities of grain are high. Protein content in grain - 12.3 - 14.9%, raw gluten - 29-34%, IDK - 60 o.p., flour strength - 210 o.a., volume of bread without improvers - 700 ml, total bakery grade - 9 points.

The potential grain yield is 14.0 t/ha. The high yield and quality of gluten, dough and bread of the Timofey variety was confirmed in the experiments of the University of California, Davis (USA, 2019). Among 200 varietiestriticale the Timofey variety took the first place in terms of bread-making properties with a volume of bread of 740 ml and a grain yield per bushel of 5.2-7.1 t/ha and 11 ,8-12.9 t/ha under irrigation (states of California and Colorado, 2019). 

Recommended for steam and better predecessors (peas, potatoes, perennial grasses, corn for silage). Sowing times are optimal for the zone. Sowing rate 5-6 million/ha.
